Who volunteers?
All our volunteers have one thing in common, they are good listeners and have a sense of humour. If you like meeting and making new friends then you will enjoy volunteering at The British Home.
The Home always welcomes enquiries from new volunteers.
At present we should like to recruit more volunteers to help out during the week in the Home's art room. You do not need to be an expert but if you are at all interested in arts and crafts then we can use you.
We are also looking for a few more volunteers to help our residents in our computer suite, basic computer skills are all that is necessary.
We are about to start work building a new sensory garden, we will therefore be pleased to welcome volunteers who could perhaps only help out in the garden for a few hours a week, but who would like to be part of the project .
See below for details on how to apply for these or any other volunteer posts.
