Our Residents

Our residents range in age from people in their early twenties to those over 80. A survey of our residents showed that 58% were under the age of 60.

Many have more than one medical condition and very complex health needs. We promise to provide care for as long as they want to stay.

All The British Home's residents are treated as unique adults who may share a diagnosis but who respond to their conditions in different ways and who have very different needs and personalities.

Some of our residents enjoy outside involvement with day centres while others are more comfortable taking part in The British Home's own programme of activities and entertainment. Everyone can experience pleasure and enjoyment even if that capacity is limited by disability. Our role is to provide high quality care and services to allow residents to carry on with their lives.
