“I’ve been here at The Home now for nearly three and a half  years. When I started to get ill I already knew that the place I  wanted to come to was The British Home. I had visited it in the past when I used to come up here with my students, I knew then that it really felt like a nice place to be in and I was most impressed with the level of care for the residents. I have a lovely room that looks over to the school and it’s nice hearing the children. I have a large window and lots of plants that love it there and grow really well."
