Senior Management

Chief Executive - Paul Perkin
Paul graduated from Lancaster and began his career in publishing across a range of commercial titles and media. Motivated by the increasing visibility of rough sleepers across London during the late 90’s, Paul made a career change and began working within homeless hostels. Paul’s most previous role was Director of Operations at Look Ahead Housing and Care with responsibility for a large portfolio of mental health and homeless services.

Director of Care - Keith Crowhurst
Keith qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1990 and obtained an MSc in 2003. He has over twenty years experience in the care home setting having previously worked within the NHS, local authorities, private sector and education. Keith is passionate about leading an innovative clinical team that provides a range of care, support and therapy to meet the full range of needs of our residents.

Director of Finance and Resources - Natasha Charles-Lewis
Natasha is a CIMA qualified accountant with over twenty years’ experience working within the health and charitable sector. With extensive experience of business and process transformation, Natasha is very excited to be part of the team that will deliver the charity's strategic objectives and ensure that British Home provides a sustainable future proof service.

Home Manager - Paul Osborne
Paul has an extensive background in healthcare services across many specialties, having spent over 30 years working in the NHS and the eight years working in the third sector - specifically in neurological care charities. Paul combines his general nursing experience, Paul brings significant management experience, including having been General Manager of Neurosciences at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Head of Therapy - Elizabeth Muchechetere
Elizabeth is an experienced physiotherapist with a demonstrated history of working in neuro-rehabilitation across a range of settings. She is skilled in setting up and managing rehabilitation units and programmes, specialised neuro-rehabilitation, orthopaedics and spinal rehabilitation with Healthcare at Home, contracted by The Royal National Orthopaedics Hospital and fitness training. Her main interests are in neuro-rehabilitation, psychology, clinical research and enabling patients where possible.

Head of Communications and Fundraising - Jon Smalldon
Jon has over twenty years’ experience in the charity fundraising and marketing sector and is a full member of the Institute of Fundraising. His work has covered all kinds of income generation and awareness work across charities large and small. His focus at British Home is building sustainable growth in our voluntary income to support our ambitious strategy for the future, and to ensure our internal and external communications hit the mark.

Services Manager - Irene Jones
Irene started her career with a national building society, progressing to Assistant Manager at their Regent Street Branch. After taking a career break with her young family she joined British Home, and is now one of our longest serving members of staff. Irene is responsible for facilitating all maintenance and improvement requirements, and for the day to day upkeep of our beautiful building. Irene enjoys involving staff and residents to make their own choices, to create a pleasant environment to live and work. Irene is also our Health and Safety representative, and is trained to IOSH standard.
